What We Believe

1. We believe in ONE God, the Creator of all things, who has revealed Himself in Scripture as Father, Son (the Word), and Holy Ghost. (Deuteronomy 6:4; John 1:1, 14)

2. We believe in the divine inspiration and infallibility of the Bible as the Word of God, serving as our ultimate authority in matters of faith and practice. (2 Timothy 3:16).

3. We believe in salvation and the forgiveness of sins that comes only by the blood of Jesus Christ, through sincere repentance, turning away from sin, and living a life that's dedicated to the Lord. (1 John 1:9)

4. We believe in the ongoing process of sanctification in the life of the believer through the transformative power of the Holy Ghost, conforming us to the image of Christ.

(1 Thessalonians 5:23; Galatians 4:19).

5. We believe in water baptism by immersion in the name of Jesus Christ, following the example and practice of the apostles recorded in the Book of Acts. We practice baptism in Jesus' name as an act of obedience, identifying the believer with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. (Acts 2:38; Acts 8:16; Acts 10:48; Acts 19:5; Romans 6:3–6)

6. We believe in the Baptism in the Holy Ghost and that it's a distinct experience from salvation. (Acts 2:4)

7. We believe in all nine gifts of the Spirit according to 1 Corinthians 12:8-11.

8. We believe that every believer should have evidence of the fruit of the Spirit at work within their lives. (Galatians 5:22-24)

9. We stand against all forms of evil and sexual immorality. We stand against the use of alcohol and habit-forming drugs, including marijuana and tobacco, in accordance with biblical teachings, and believe that once a person gives their heart to the Lord, they should strive to be free from such things (1 Pet 3:11; James 1:21;1 Cor 6:9-11; Gal 5:19-24)

10. We embrace the five-fold ministry of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers for the equipping of the saints and the edification of the body of Christ

(Ephesians 4:11-12).

11. We believe in the virgin birth and the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ as essential components of the gospel message. (Isaiah 7:14; 1 Corinthians 15:1-4)

12. We believe in the imminent literal return of Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the dead, and the final judgment, with believers destined for a literal heaven and the unrighteous for a literal hell. (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Matthew 25:46)

13. We believe that once someone accepts Jesus Christ, they should join a body of believers, walking in newness of life, and actively participating in the church. (Hebrews 10:25)
